HGF’s Jane Gregg supports charity walk | Ben’s miles for meals

The Harry Gregg Foundation’s Jane Gregg was delighted to offer her support to inspirational Ben Dickinson on the opening and closing legs of his walk from Larne to Old Trafford to raise money for FareShare.

11-year old Manchester United fan Ben, inspired by his hero Marcus Rashford MBE, smashed his fundraising target of 50,000 meals for the food poverty charity within just days of setting off, ultimately raising enough money for an incredible 115,000 meals.

Ben was given a hero’s welcome as he stepped onto the pitch at Old Trafford ahead of Manchester United’s game against Tottenham on Saturday and was accompanied by Jane, who swapped her duties at the HGF Small Sided Games Centre to support Ben on the last leg of his journey.

Jane told Sky Sports: “I am just so impressed that he [Ben] knows an awful lot about the situation, what he is doing it for, the reasons he is doing it. He hasn’t just dipped his toe into it, he has jumped right into it!”
